Thanks to a friend of fine, who spoke to me about Feeling Tired throughout the day….I suggested him few changes in his lifestyle and see if this works out.
I was thankful to him for giving me a topic, which is faced by around 60% of the people. There are many reasons which can make you tired and exhausted not lazy I would say and they are:
1.Depression:
Do you face trouble in falling back to sleep? Or unable to get a sound sleep or coming out of the bed makes you feel sick? Stress can be a major factor for you to feel tired. 1 out of every 4 people is suffering from depression. The physical symptoms of depression include fatigue, low in energy, lack of concentration, anxiety, anger. The first step to deal with depression is acceptance, first accept you are under acute stress and need help. It’s not necessary you visit a doctor, but talking to your closed ones may help you find a solution. But don’t delay it, before it gets worse.
2. Anemia:
If you feel tired all the time, along with feeling short of breath, extreme headache, feet are cold; chances are you are anemic. You need to increase your iron and B 12 intake. When the blood doesn’t carry enough oxygen to the rest of your body this is the stage of body being anemic. Get your blood test done immediately and consult a doctor.
3. Thyroid:
If you feel tired, short of energy, constipated and dryness in the skin; it’s an indication of thyroid. An abnormal production of thyroid hormones may cause thyroid. You may feel depressed, sluggish, mood swings. Consult a doctor before it gets worse.
4. Diabetes:
Extreme tiredness or fatigue is often associated to diabetes. Even day to day tasks body is unable to perform properly. Blood sugar test can help you identify whether you are suffering from high or low sugar level. If it’s over 3 to 4 weeks of constant exhaustion and lack of sleep consult a doctor.
5. Food sensitivity:
We are often intolerant to certain food items but we aren’t aware of that. Such food items can lower the energy level in the body which is also called Postprandial Somnolence. Food allergies can cause tiredness and affect the quality of life.
6. Adrenal fatigue:
The symptoms of adrenal fatigue would be extreme tiredness, feeling sleepy all the time, depression. If the adrenal glands don’t produce enough hormones which regulates our blood pressure, sugar, burns fat and proteins it can lead to adrenal fatigue. When the adrenal gland produces less cortisol hormones due to high level stress these glands became fatigue.
7. Infection:
Flu, UTI, TB, malaria can be the reason for you to feel tired. Running nose, sneezing, coughing, pain, burning can make you fatigue. Infection can lead to inflammation. If inflammation gets extreme it can cause lot of reaction on the body in the form of exhaustion, feeling unwell, drowsiness, and fever.
8. Sleep apnea:
It is a serious sleep disorder. There is an obstruction in the breathing repeatedly while you are asleep. Symptoms can be loud snoring, insomnia, gasping for air during sleep, feeling sleepy with headache throughout the day, irritability, exhaustion.
Feeling tired all the time is not a good sign. It makes you sulk, unhappy and disturbs your peace of mind. It’s better to figure out the cause before it starts affecting your personal and professional life.
