3. The role that stands out in all the movies he has acted is certainly Pan Singh Tomar released in 2012. He was a very effortless actor & was able to fit in to the desired role very easily. ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ is an example of such remarkable talent. This film was made in very tight budget & it was evident that it would be shelved due to prolongation of the shooting time window due to some issues.

It’s a movie that is a biographical representation of the life of Paan Singh Tomar – a seven-time national champion in steeplechase. It shows irrelevance or disrespect prevalent in India’s Sports administration and in society for its sportsmen. The movie is a story of Tomar who goes from being an army officer to an Asian games athlete for India before some family disputes forces him to become a dacoit after the government fails to help him recapture his lost land.

4. Irrfan Khan worked extremely hard on his physical fitness to fit to the structure of an athlete grown up in a rural mold. Do watch this movie as a tribute to this amazing actor. I always keep in in mind Irrfan’s one tweet with a line from Margaret Mitchell. He wrote:

“Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect”. – Margaret Mitchell.

Also let’s be kind to each other as appealed by him in last his tweet.
